Sweet Home Alabama is rock classic. It is well-known by rock and country fans. If you are not familiar with this song then it is about time to be. Not to mention it is extremely easy to learn on the guitar.

Sweet Home Alabama is a single by the band Lynyrd Skynyrd. I was first released in June 1974 and quickly rose through the music charts and hit number 8 on the US charts. The funny thing is none of the band members that wrote the song were from Alabama.
