Today, you can find numerous great pedals designed by this Chinese company, and you will need to pay a fraction of the price compared to some of the big names. 

Of course, it all comes down to what type of sound you are trying to get. Flamma Innovation is still a young company, and the number of pedals and effects you will be able to find is limited. But Flamma continues with its principle that great gear doesn’t need to be tied to an unlimited budget. 

While the prices on these products are reasonable, pedals and effects can be used by anyone. This includes both experienced players and beginners.

The next thing on the list to talk about is the sound quality. Now, the primary advantage of the pedal is its versatility. Since each effect has four knobs, you will be able to create many different sounds and effects. In addition, there are three mods as well, so finding a perfect one shouldn’t be a problem. 

The tap tempo is quite easy to use, but if you hold the button, you will activate the freeze function. LEDs are located on each of the footswitches, which means that you will easily be able to see which one is turned on. 

Another thing I should mention is that this is a stereo pedal, which means that you might need two amps to use it as intended. The controls on the amp also allow you to use the effects separately, which will essentially give you six different effects. 

The first combination is analog echo delay and mod reverb. You can easily select only one of these two effects by turning the level knob all the way down for the effect you don’t plan on using. From there on, you can adjust the tone using the knobs for the effect that’s enabled.

The model has separate controls for delay and reverb, it is huge, and the sound is amazing. Both of the effects have different mods and controls, and the pedal is quite versatile. So, what’s the problem, you might ask. Well, the Reflecting Pool costs three or four times more compared to Flamma FS22. 

Flamma FS22 Is Perfect For Whom?

Let’s talk about customers. For whom is this pedal? If you have just started building a pedalboard and experimenting with effects, you will adore the fact that you can get both of these effects in a single box. 

So, the pedal is perfect for those that are looking for a two-in-one pedal. Furthermore, those that are buying on a budget will cherish the fact that this pedal is so cheap. Needless to say, anyone can use them. There is no skill level requirement for the pedal, and you can use it regardless of whether you are a beginner or someone with years of experience. 

The versatility allows you to experiment with different genres and guitars, so you will undoubtedly find a place to use it. 

Where To Put Flamma FS22 On The Pedalboard?

Learning about the pedal order in the chain is important. And there are a few unwritten rules you should follow. Now, there are a couple of exceptions, and you can experiment with the order as you please, but this is something many players agree with when it comes to placing pedals on the pedalboard. 

We will follow the journey of a signal from the guitar to the amp. So, when I say the first one, that means the pedal you will plug your guitar cable into. The last effect on the chain is the one that connects to the amp. 

In general, you will place the effects that affect the dynamics of the tone in the first position. This includes compressors, wah pedals, volume pedals, pitch shifters, and so on. After that, you will put overdrive, distortion, or anything else focusing on gain. Modulation effects are the next one in line, including chorus, phasers, flangers, and so on.

Donner Revecho

Donner has been dominating the budget market for years, and it is no surprise that the company offers a mix of delay and reverb as well. The Revecho pedal is huge, which is quite unusual for Donner. There are five knobs at the top to control reverb, decay, level, feedback, and delay.

The pedal offers three different modes, and there are three knobs to control time, level, and feedback. Of course, the main quality of this model is the price, and you will have a hard time finding anything cheaper. 

FLAMMA FC02

Flamma FC02 is the other side of the coin. It is designed for those who just want to use reverb, and have no need for a delay effect. The mini size of the pedal is great if you are looking to build a smaller pedalboard, and it’s quite easy to use. 

Similarly to FC03, there are three modes you can select using the switch and three knobs. The potentiometers control decay, mix, and tone. As with almost every Flamma pedal, the price is incredible.
